Branding Development for Blanc

Blanc is a collection under the wedding brand Calla Blanche. While it must align with Calla Blanche’s tone, it should have a distinct style. Customers should recognize that Blanc is part of the Calla Blanche family when making a purchase.

1, Study the Brand
First, I gathered the brand’s concepts and design guidelines to create a logo that accurately represents the essence of the brand collection.

2, Brainstorm and Sketch
Secondly, since the other Calla Blanche collections are text-based, I created sketches focused on typography to maintain stylistic coherence. I also drew inspiration from other successful examples.

Thirdly, I created high-fidelity drafts, shortlisted the top options, and presented them to the stakeholders. They selected one version, which I then refined and polished.

Finally, after refining the design, we selected the Big Caslon font to represent our brand values of elegance, balance, utility, and seamlessness. To reinforce the connection between Blanc and Calla Blanche, I included a smaller Calla Blanche logo beneath the font, ensuring clear brand recognition for the audience.


3, Design Alternatives
To achieve optimal results, I created mockups for the brand’s tags and cards, carefully selecting reliable colours and materials.
